Not far from Urandangie, just over the border between Queensland and the Northern Territory is "Manners Creek". A large cattle station that once used to be part of Tobermory - it has since been divided and operated as two separate stations.
My family and I, were fortunate to be invited to lunch one Saturday. It was around a 3hr drive (taking into consideration to stop at the Urandangie pub!) - but it was a wonderful drive and one I am very grateful for taking - I will be going back.
As is typical in a dry, hot and dusty environment - the roads cut through a landscape almost barren of vegatation and life - but the drive home at sunset - well that is a different story!
