Ever wondered what it looks like driving into Mount Isa?

Well, wonder no more!!

We took a drive, about 50km east of Mount Isa today - and on the way home I thought you ( my lovely blog readers) may like to know what the scenery is like on the way into town.

Here is a series of shots I took from the passengers side, whilst my husband merrily drove along.

You will notice the UV filter from the windscreen, and from time to time - you may also notice what the last things is to go through a bug's mind - before it hits the windscreen.

We have been fortunate that the Mount Isa area has received a smidgeon of rain of late - and this has encouraged the grass to grow and the weeds to flourish.

All of this of course, is food for are struggling livestock that we humans share the area with.
