Cracker of a Storm to the South! {Mount Isa}

Last night (Thurdsay, 9th January 2014) I went out with a like minded photography friend to see if we could get some lightning photos!

Well we did!

These images are taken from Telstra Hill - only a few km's east of town,  we were looking to the south, in the direction of a very small town called Duchess.

While we chatted and generally, did not concentrate on what we were doing - we both managed to score some very excellent lightning shots.

What do you think - pretty awesome huh?
