At the End of the Rainbow...... {Mount Isa}

is Me - trying hard to take a great photo!!

Early this month (January 2014), Mount Isa was treated to a really beautiful rainbow display.

It was not until I came home and had a good look at my images that I noticed some 'colouring' on the trees - not far from where I was shooting from!  I have convinced myself, that I was not that far from the pot of gold!!

I am sure there must be a term for it - but here is the sun reflecting through the rainbow.  The sun is behind me in the West with me looking to the East at the rainbow.

I know it is really hard to tell - but - I am sure the rainbow has ended on top of the brown bushy tree.  It was about 20m from where I was standing!

The Original Cemetery for Mount Isa.  It is located not fra from the current cemetery.

A lovely sunset over Lake Moondarra
