Windmills and Rusty Water Tanks {Mount Isa}

I got a little excited about all the rain that has been falling around the Mount Isa Region lately.  To the west between Mount Isa and Camooweal, there has been some pretty good readings.  So, I packed up my gear and went looking for; something - anything to take photos of to show how wonderful the rain has been.
Although I drove through quite a few rain showers, these were not enough to get the rivers or creeks flowing.  So, I opted for my old faithful, my favourite windmill and rusty watertanks instead.

This windmill is west of Mount Isa and I have lost count of the number of times I have taken photos of it.  This time I tried to be creative and find a different angle - so I looked up into the "belly of the beast".

Sadly the watertanks are rusted and have been through multiple bushfires and are no longer of any use - but they are amazingly textured and coloured.

Doesn't Mother Nature have the best "Colour Palette".
